Quaytickets launches new Social Media integration

With the addition of http://quay.it/ Quaytickets have now added URL shortening abilities to their event announcements.

By developing their own shortener in-house Quaytickets have the ability to personalise URL's for their clients instead of a random string of text and numbers.

New appointments in buisness development team at Quaytickets

Quaytickets, the bespoke ticketing agency run by the award-winning The Lowry arts centre, announces two significant new appointments.

James Akers joins Quaytickets as Business Development Manager, from national ticket agency, Ticketline. James’s role will be to drive new business for the only ticketing agency in the UK that ploughs all its profits back into the arts.

James’s appointment comes at a crucial time in the evolution of Quaytickets as the company recently reported a 300% increase in profits between 2008 and 2009. He will be tasked with implementing a strategic plan to ensure the continued growth of the business.

In addition, Quaytickets has also appointed Amy Stonehewer in the role of Business Development Executive. Her priorities will include generating new business and the representation of Quaytickets at business and trade events.

Recent client and event wins secured by Quaytickets, include Lesley Garrett & Manchester Camerata, Farm Festival, Alton Towers, Queer Up North events, Sounds from the Other City and the groundbreaking Future Everything Festival.
